Visiting Baseball Stadiums

Take Me Out to the Ballpark
The Lone Red Seat at Fenway Park in Boston

The "Lone Red Seat" at Fenway Park in Boston signifies the longest home run ever hit at Fenway Park. Red Sox legend Ted Williams hit the 502-foot home run on June 9, 1946. The seat is located in the right field bleachers (Section 42, Row 37, Seat 21).

Going to a baseball game is a fun way to get to know a city and its people, not to mention a fine way to spend a few hours watching America's pastime. Luckily, the United States has 29 stadiums that you can add to a travel itinerary. (The 30th baseball stadium is in Toronto, Canada.) Visit the links below to learn about getting baseball tickets, touring historic stadiums, dining and drinking near the diamond, and more.
