Hurricane Sandy, seen here courtesy of a NASA satellite photo, is affecting travel from the Virginia to Maine and disrupting air travel throughout the United States, as a number of airports have suspended operations. For the latest information on Sandy, Google has a number of up-to-the-minute resources (simply type in "Sandy" or "Hurricane Sandy" in search). USA Today air travel reporter Ben Mutzabaugh also has a list of the latest U.S. airport shutdowns, which currently include seven of the USA's top 25 airports that are shut down or have significant flight cancellations.
The storm is expected to batter the East Coast through at least Tuesday afternoon. So if you are traveling, stay safe out there!
