The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Pageant of Peace will take place in Washington, DC, on December 6, 2012. If you'd like to attend the ceremony, you must apply to the lottery which is open through 10 a.m. on Monday, October 29. Visit www.thenationaltree.org or call (877) 444-6777 to apply for free tickets. There are 3,000 seated tickets and 14,000 standing-room tickets available through the lottery.
