Earlier this week, Michelin announced the star ratings for New York City restaurants for 2013. This year's edition includes nine new one-starred restaurants and one new two-starred restaurant. The list of three-starred restaurants stayed the same.
Food website Eater New York has a Map of New York City's Michelin-Starred Restaurants along with links to its coverage of each establishment. If you are interested in booking a spot at any of these restaurants - or, at least, trying to - reservation site Open Table has a promotional page that makes it easy to book 2013 NYC Michelin Restaurants online.
Later this month, Michelin will announce star ratings for the San Francisco Bay Area and Chicago, the only two other places in the United States that have Michelin-starred restaurants. If you want to learn more about Michelin-starred restaurants and whether other cities in the U.S. will have them in the future, this interview with Michelin's International Director Michael Ellis explains that we may eventually see Michelin-rated restaurants in Washington, DC, Miami, Las Vegas, and Seattle, among other locations.
