Two exhibitions focused on Dutch painters are beginning in February.

"Van Gogh Up Close" starts on February 1 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It will feature 40 paintings from Vincent Van Gogh's "tumultuous" years, many of which were spent in France. The exhibit runs through May 6.

Meanwhile, in Cleveland, the Cleveland Museum of Art will open "Rembrandt in America" on February 19. Running through May 28, the exhibit will showcase 50 works privately-held by American collectors. Concurrently, the Cleveland Museum of Art will show the companion exhibit, "Rembrandt Prints from the Morgan Library," which will feature nearly 500 works created during the time Rembrandt was a print maker.
